Testimonials

I have been seeing Dr Luce to manage ankle pain and instability using Active Release Therapy and kinetic taping (i think that's what it's called, regardless it is GREAT!!). He has also been "cracking" my body just recently, I was not convinced this would help, but I have noticed that I feel great afterwards. Dr Luce is very knowledgable, caring and friendly. I highly recommend seeing this guy if you want relief from pain and want to feel great.

For years my wife has chosen not to visit a chiropractor because she did not "believe" in them. She would endure the pain and keep her opinion. Finally one day she was in so much pain she could barely walk. I told her that we should go see my friend Jake (Dr. Luce) and see if he could help. He did an outstanding job building confidence with her, he relieved her pain (that day), and she now visits Dr. Luce anytime she is feeling out of line or has pains without hesitation because she trusts him. I would highly recommend Dr. Luce.

Dr. Luce has been able to nearly eliminate the pain, and greatly increase the flexibility in my neck and shoulders by using Active Release Technique. Many years of injury and re-injury from heavy physical work as a farmer had left me convinced that I would have to put up with the pain and stiffness for the rest of my life. In addition to treating me with ART, Dr. Luce showed me specific exercises to reduce the symptoms anytime. I strongly urge anyone with a similar issue to see him.

After my chiropractor suddenly retired last fall, I found Dr. Luce at the finish line expo of the SoJo Half Marathon. I'm so glad I did! I had heard that ART therapy was good for runners, but now I get it! Dr. Luce has helped to solve problems that other practitioners danced around or missed entirely. I highly recommend him if you are athletic and want to avoid/solve the nagging aches and pains that plague us "mature" athletes.

Give this doctor 5 stars! I've been spoiled by having my son/employer be my chiropractor for years. When we retired and moved I assumed I wouldn't find anyone who could possibly help me as much. Dr. Luce has dispelled my misgivings. He is so helpful and patient. He takes time to listen and to educate. I never feel like he doesn't have enough time for me. And I love visiting with his sweet wife at the front desk. I almost expect him to say "Bye, Mom" at the end of my visit.

I have been to many doctors because of chronic back pain. No one has been able to relieve that back pain, and a plethora of things have been tried (anything from shots, to tinctures, to physical therapy). My wife suggested I see a chiropractor and she said she knew of one close by. The very first visit with Dr. Luce made a huge difference in my back pain. After only a few visits I was almost pain free. On one of my visits I told Dr. Luce about the migraines my wife had been having and he said they could help with that. So I suggested she go for a visit. She also felt instant relief after just one visit.

Dr. Luce is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He took the time to talk to each of us about why we were having the problems we were having and what he was going to do to help us alleviate those problems. Both of us felt immediate relief after only a few visits and that relief continues on months later.

Luce Chiropractic is the most professional and yet comfortable chiropractic office we have ever been in. When you walk in, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. We have been greeted promptly every time and have had very little wait time to begin our appointments. It's very refreshing to have everything taken care of without worry. There has never been a problem with our insurance claims and the billing has gone through very smoothly. And if there is ever a problem and an appointment needs to be changed, our phone calls have always been answered or returned very quickly.

We have both recommended Dr. Luce to our friends and neighbors and will continue to do so!

As a result of a motor vehicle accident ten years ago, I sustained a brachial plexus injury to my left arm/shoulder.  The inability to use that arm created over-use of my right arm/shoulder.  For the past six months the pain in the right shoulder has been so significant that, after several x-rays and MRI, three orthopedic surgeons specializing in shoulders told me a total shoulder replacement would be necessary for pain relief.

In June a chiropractic nephew of mine in California examined my right shoulder and did some manipulating.  He asked if I am familiar with ART (active release technique) in chiropractic treating.  I was not, so he strongly urged me to seek a certified chiropractor of this treatment in Salt Lake City for an examination.  After my first visit to Dr. Jacob Luce, pain relief began.  He also began treating my left arm/shoulder, and I am able to use that arm for the first time in ten years.  Not only has pain been eliminated in the right shoulder and use of my left arm increased, I feel more like a whole person having the use of both arms.

Thank you, Dr. Luce, for ART and for restoring my physical abilities!

Finally Some Relief

I had a numb and tingling shoulder from too much swimming last summer and sleeping on my stomach. I went to another chiropractor who only adjusted my spine.

Dr Luce did active release which seemed to make sense and it worked really well. I forget what it's called but they used the electric pulse which is nice and he really took his time.

Good mix of having some experience, but his years of school aren't too far behind him to be outdated like some older chiropractors.
